Staff was great. Property clean, but rooms were a little outdated- No usb chargers, mattress was older, and was not give any washcloths.

Pleasant enough stay but a few issues. We arrived late, & the building was locked. It took a long time to get someone to open up & let us in to check in. WiFi was not explained upon check in. Got to the room & there was an open bathroom, which considering we asked for a twin room - mother & daughter - we didn’t particularly want to see the other showering!! Room 16 needs a screen or curtain you can divide the room up from the bathroom area, so that you have some privacy. No milk for tea or coffee, even upon request we couldn’t have any (surely you supply this for breakfast?!) luckily a great supermarket is across the road for more coffee & milk supplies. Room very hot, no remote available for the heater/air con unit to adjust it. Also waited ages for someone to serve us at the bar in the evening. If you like basic, then it’s a great location.

Great location and the history of the building itself was amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful. I wish there was a bar area to sit at and meet other travelers, but they did have a small bar set up in the lobby and there are comfortable areas to sit at. They are able to help you with tour information. The breakfast is amazing!

Incredible hotel and incredible staff. Close to everything but in a quieter area. Cannot recommend enough.
