I didn't give 5 stars because the area can be a little intemidating if you're walking alone at night. I didn't see any homeless in Old Quebec but I did see many in this area. However, the hotel room, which is really a spacious studio, is gorgeous, just like the pictures: simple, modern, new and super clean. The kitchen is well equipped to prepared meals. The laundry facility is free! They fresh up the room once every four days. They also store your luggage if you need it before heading to the airport. And there's parking available too. Public transportation is very accessible. Otherwise, to Old Quebec is a quite steep walk, which we did as couple of times. There are many bakeries and restaurants walking distance as well. We truly enjoyed our stay here with the exception of not feeling comfortable to walk around after dark.

The hotel was a great stop on our way from Toronto to Halifax. We arrived early and were told we would be notified once our room was ready, the staff was truly not very pleasant. As we were waiting in the lobby, we noticed others being checking into rooms. Upon enquiring whether a room was available, a different associate was able to get us into a room…. A little frustrating to know that we were not notified and had we not asked, we may have been waiting longer.

Check in was. About weird. Done at the end but strange with no actual reception. Rooms good. Location was a bit sketchy but not horrible. Last day on check out no hot water for the shower :(. 3 towels for 2 adults for 3 nights. Not great.
