My stay at Hotel Riu in Times Square was nothing short of fantastic! The location couldn't be better, situated right in the heart of the bustling Times Square and Restaurant Row. It's the perfect base for exploring the city, with easy access to numerous attractions, shops, and dining options. The staff at Hotel Riu were incredibly friendly and accommodating. From check-in to check-out, every interaction was pleasant, and they were always willing to assist with any request. Their warmth and professionalism added a personal touch to my experience. The rooms were well-appointed, spacious, and clean, providing a cozy retreat after a busy day in the city. The modern decor blended perfectly with the vibrant atmosphere outside. Service throughout the hotel was impeccable, with prompt responses to any needs and a welcoming ambiance that made me feel right at home. Everything was top notch!

1. Beds squeak so bad - if you breathe the bed squeaks. 2. 5am - the trash truck or whomever start honking their horns ~ ALL MORNING LONG. There is no reprieve from this. 3. No WiFi 4. No laundry/washer available 5. We were never really sure when our room was going to be serviced. 75% it was, but yea… 6. Thin bathtowels 7 The TV has this weird subtitle thing that describes everything happening on the show your watching; there is no shutting this off. Not even worth watching. 8. The shower water is SO HOT it will burn ur skin. Please leave it on minimum for a barely acceptable shower. 9. Mattresses are very… broken in. 10. The convenience of the location was great but for the price, I probably could have went somewhere better. Lesson learned.

All staff we came into contact with from front desk to housekeeping to breakfast/happy hour to doormen were super attentive, very friendly and seemed to sincerely see us. The happy hour/dinner and breakfast provided surprisingly good food, lots of variety and very generous pours! Sonia was a standout and we looked forward to seeing her each evening. Beds and bedding very comfortable. Room nicely appointed and clean.

The staff was very friendly and the ambience was nice. However, the room was very cramped and had to be careful not to fall over columns and bed on the way to the bathroom. Walls were thin and there was no facial soap provided.
