Restaurant/bar wait staff and cleaning crew were excellent. Front desk staff did not answer calls and were not helpful with getting the final bill upon checkout.

Paid a little higher price to stay here bc I’ve enjoyed embassy suites. I should’ve read the recent neg reviews—they were on point & seemingly unaddressed by management. I try to give the benefit of the doubt but “small” things added up. P.M 1: arrival 10pm. Sink water gets super hot. turned it off and left the cool side running. It stayed scalding for at least 60 seconds. This would burn a child or someone with fragile skin for sure. A.M. 1: buffet. Out of coffee. Alerted staff. They made some, done a few minutes later. Left for the day, put do not disturb sign up, didn’t need anything AM 2: 6am, sign off door so towels could be replaced and trash bins emptied. Safe wouldn’t work so had to take valuable with me. P.m 3: 6 pm, brought food to room. Opened refrigerator, everything frozen solid. Tried to turn the temp down but wouldn’t move. Took everything out to defrost. Bug (lizard maybe) crawling in bedroom, found someone’s Apple Watch while trying the exterminate. untouched room. 1 towel, trash overflowing. Too tired to call, bagged trash set it out AM 3. 6am, bathroom threshold tack strip exposed and hurt when I stepped out. Tried to call front desk, phone in room dead. Used hall phone to ask for cleaning that day. PM 4 housekeeping had come.

For the money we spent. IMHO it was just ok. We've been on much nicer resorts for way cheaper. The front desk people were very nice. There were a few bartenders that were great and a couple that wouldn't get hired by McDonald's. Overall a average rating for the amount of money we spent for 7 days and 6 nights. Do better
