Clean and smelled great in the lobby and in our room.

I have stayed at the Fairmont multiple times and it is always great. The location is perfect if taking the train. I felt the room was a bit cramped for one adult and two kids, but the city view was outstanding. The staff took care of reservations for me and was very helpful whenever I needed them. The pool was a perfect break during the heatwave and the water filling station on our floor was a nice surprise. If you're going with kids, I recommend an afternoon gelato in Artisans to beat the summer heat and a pizza to go if you're taking the train or want to do a picnic out.

Loved the location! It was right in the middle of downtown and connected to a mall. Part of the underground city. Great restaurants nearby. Wonderful hotel!

Great hotel in good location, perhaps more downtown than old town but both close. Lovely pool area and the guy who wears a cap behind the bar is the hardest working, most cheerful person. Only down side is the pool gets too busy and there are lots of kids. Nice room and comfy bed with big tv, perfect!
