Great place to stay clean and close to the attractions

I vowed not to return to this property since I stayed there over 10 years ago. I left a necklace and wanted to return and get it, they didn’t want to help me find it. Plus the rooms smelled of smoke. So this time the room wasn’t as great ether, I was happy we had a fridge. The beds were uncomfortable and I had brought a small air purifier to combat any smells. The shower would not drain and black stuff was backing up. They did fix it but they never cleaned the tub after fixed. I was so tired of asking for things I let it slide. One day we asked to clean the room multiple times. We were eating in the room and I wanted the trash out and more towels. We were ended up taking the trash out ourselves. They did give us a bag of towels but didn’t bother to pick up the dirty ones. There was no 24 hour restaurant there, it was fine because we brought our meal prep food and ate rather healthy. It was inconvenient ordering food from their cafe I had to go to the restaurant and scan the QR code. That should be located in every room as well as a way to order room service. I most likely won’t be staying there again. Maybe an upgraded room would have been nicer. One of the house keepers was very helpful, most hotels accommodate things you forget. This one did not and wanted you to purchase from their market. If you do sports betting it’s a great place to stay. I was also upset about the parking charges even as a guest we had to pay and I was double charged.

I had no experience or knowledge of the property when I booked it, but the facility was impressive and impeccably kept, the staff attentive and helpful and the location just far enough away from the daily throngs of tourists to be very peaceful. I felt like I’d found a hidden gem.

My wife and I stayed at the Elizabeth Hotel from September 17th -22nd. This was my first trip to Rome, so I was looking for an incredible experience in the heart of the city. The hotel was everything I wanted plus more. It is located a short 5 minute walk to the Piazza Del Popolo, the starting point of our two tours to Pompeii and Tuscany. The hotel is located on a side street, so we heard none of the neighborhood activity after a long day exploring the city. From the moment the doorman opened the door for upon arrival until he loaded our luggage into our car for the return trip to the airport, everything at the hotel was excellent. Our "suite" had a nice size living room with a fridge to store cold beverages. The bedroom was roomy a very comfortable king bed. The bath room was spacious and very modern. Breakfast (included) was served either inside or on a rooftop patio and offered a wide variety of delicious food. The French Toast was outstanding as was the homemade granola with yogurt and fruit. The floor plan itself was intriguing as we discovered nooks and alcoves at every turn. The library offered a quiet place to relax. The staff at the hotel was superb with friendly smiles greeting us at every encounter. Special mention to Thomas and Julianna at the front desk for their extraordinary help with restaurant and gelato recommendations, and their willingness to jump on the phone to help (in rapid fire Italian) with any snafus in our travel plans. They were outstanding.
