The room was very clean and the staff was very helpful. I arranged a transfer through the hotel from the airport to the hotel. The driver was not there when we landed, but we were able to hail a taxi. I arranged for a flower arrangement with a note. Everything

Hotel was good! Only thing was the bed was hard, needs more cushion & the TV is small and the channels kept cutting off. Overall the Staff were amazing! Breakfast was delicious. Location was great! Especially being next to the train station (about less than 10 min walk) & restaurants/stores are very close. Only about 2 miles from Colluseum.

Best hotel experience traveling abroad that I have ever had. This front desk staff is top notch. I knew I was going to book here when I sent a question to the hotel and within minutes they responded. When we arrived after a long flight the staff was incredible. The gentleman at the desk knew my name before I gave him any information about myself. Everytime we hadca question the staff was so kind and helpful. Traveling to a different country can be stressful, but the staff made us feel welcome and at home. We are going back this September and will definitely be staying there again.

Great quirky hotel. Lovely staff. Very friendly guest relations. Not to far from Spanish steps and Trevi fountain.

This is a fabulous old world hotel that is in need of modernisation in parts. Great location. Staff are attentive, especially Riccardo at the front desk. Was surprised by how some guests were dressed in the hotel; pyjamas at breakfast not appropriate.

Everything was just perfect, honoring the great reputation of the Locarno! The room was cozy and spotless, and the cleaning service accommodated to our schedule seamlessly. At the cafe, Giovanna and the rest of the team made us feel welcome and very comfortable. We can hardly wait to be back to Roma and the spectacular Hotel Locarno! Five starts!! This is a very unique hotel in Ladispol. It is surrounded by elegant and beautiful grounds but it is very much in a stand alone area with nothing to do apart from relax in the hotel . The staff are exceptionally helpful . A special shout for Luca the waiter in the restaurant who went over and beyond to make our stay memorable. The food in the restaurant is delicious including breakfasts and the hotel pride themselves on local produce . The rooms are dark and it does feel a little like staying in a museum but a luxurious one ! The aircon is also questionable with little control and certainly not reaching the temperature stated . There are a lot of stone steps so if you are unsteady on your feet beware . The hotel stands by rules with check out time rigidly adhered to and drinking water limits by the pool but taking all this into consideration, this is a beautiful hotel in a magnificent setting . The pricing of food and drink reflects a captive audience and did feel expensive ( glass of wine 23€) but the staff , the hotel and its ambience is enough to draw you back .

Room was terrific, staff was really great....Rooftop Bar for Breakfast and an occasional dinner was fantastic. Front desk and service staff super kind, helpful and engaging. Great location in the City in my opinion. My only nit is that in room coffee was Nescafe! In a coffee centric culture like Rome, instant coffee in the room, not a Nespresso or something similar...

The room and the bathroom were clean which is what i was looking for. The hotel and the area nice and quiet so ... we used a publuc transport and were feeling safe walking from the bus in the area when was already dark.

Had a very nice stay. Staff were friendly and accommodating such as when we asked for extra pillows. Rooms were nice however would have liked a kettle in the room and plug or usb sockets closer to the bed. Overall was a nice stay. Breakfast was very nice with a large selection of continental however some bacon and actual sausages (rather than frankfurters) for British guests would have been nice.
