Great stay at the Nikko Fukuoka. The room is big and the location is perfect. While the interior style feels a little old-fashioned, everything else was great.

Clean room, friendly staff, good onigiri breakfast. 10mins from subway

It's a walkable distance from Hakata station (10-15min). Sound proof isn't that good if people talk along the corridor. Other than that, all was quiet. Staff will assist you check in thro a machine. Check out was much easier. There's 2 supermarkets within walking distance (abt 10-15min). The mattress wasn't that comfortable. It is like concave in and can feel the bottom. I had to sleep near the edge of the mattress to support my body. Pillow is flat but not too flat for me. I don't know what time they start cleaning on 2nd floor. Just know that cleaner will prepare around 10am. Once, I came back at 2pm. Most of the room doors were still open, indicating cleaning was still in progress.
