Enoshima Cheap Vacations

It was on its own floor. The apartment was a good size for a family of 5. Had I known there would be a washer and dryer in the room I would have brought less clothes since we did laundry everyday. The showers were a bit hard to use for the kids but they figured it out by the end. There was one night we needed to call the front desk from a nearby Monday hotel as we blew a fuse when we used the toaster oven and microwave at the same time.

Staff was friendly and speak English well. There was an in-unit laundry which was very helpful. We picked the Superior Japanese room and the room was clean and spacious for a family of four with two young children. 7-Eleven and Lawson were nearby. However, the subway station was about 10-15 mins walk, which was not the most convenient, and the hotel door will be locked after midnight and you would need an access code to enter the hotel, which made me wonder the safety of the area. The varieties of restaurants were not as much nearby, but presuming most travelers have made plans to eat elsewhere. We were there mainly for the zoo and it was convenient for that purpose.

Hotel and facilities are very old, not what I imagine for a five-star hotel.

Very friendly staff breakfast was OK. Location was far from everything we had to take Taxi to do anything.

The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The concierge helped us find a local restaurant that had excellent food at a reasonable price. They have a beautiful garden accessible from the second floor. I would highly recommend the hotel for a relaxing and peaceful stay.

We had a wonderful stay here. The room was impressively large by Tokyo standards—we could easily open two big suitcases with room to spare. Everything was spotlessly clean and had a modern, stylish feel. The location worked perfectly for us. It's just a 2-minute walk to JR Shiomi Station. Tokyo Station is also just 3 stops away, which made day trips really convenient. We also loved winding down at the large public bath after long days of walking. Staff were friendly and helpful, and having a Family Mart right downstairs was super handy for late-night snacks. Overall, it exceeded our expectations, especially for the price. Would definitely stay here again.
