We greatly enjoyed our stay! Clean, comfortable bed, quite, and in an amazing location. The walk to get breakfast is not even a minute away and the options are good. In particular Jasmine was very nice and helpful and made us feel welcomed in Hanoi! Definitely recommend staying here when in Hanoi. We will be back!

I stayed at The Lapis twice, in 2016 and 2026. In the 10 years between my two stays, it has aged, but it happens to the best of us. It is not as well maintained as it could be (paint peeling off, etc.). Standard rooms face a wall and suffer a little from lack of air circulation. But it is still a lovely hotel, in a good location, and staffed by friendly and helpful employees.

Great property;
we loved the pool, the breakfast, and the stuff is very helpful and service oriented; the area is quite enough to be calm, but not far away from everything/ anything;
the westren restauants are mediocre but acceptbale;
i would come again alone or with family.
if you are a family, or coming for work- it is suggested to try and book Residence part and not the main hotel - it is more quite;
