This is clearly a property that mostly services foreign tourists, so people looking for a more traditional Japanese experience might be better in a quieter neighborhood, but this is a clean, modern, well-kept place right in the heart of Shinjuku that is very affordable. This does mean that you're located in the "entertainment district," so some of the nearby establishments are meant for adults only, but it is perfectly safe. The staff are very helpful and, for better or worse, they actively expect guests not to speak Japanese. Breakfast has both Asian and Western offerings, and the internet is easy and fast. Shinjuku Gyoen, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, and Godzilla Road are all within a few minutes by foot.

Hotel is right in the middle of Shinjuku night life. Hotel lobby design is great and has luggage storage option. Hotel restaurant tends to be on the high end. Our son is very said that the Godzilla terrace was not available for the whole week we were there. Room service was good and just what we need as our very family is very tidy as well. Washroom can use a few more hooks for towels or clothing. Overall my family really enjoyed our stay thank you.

Reasonable rate and convenient location. The bathroom smelled a bit dirty. The hallway smelled moldy.

We selected this property for its location, which was great. For Tokyo, the rooms were reasonably large. The rooms and particularly bathrooms were dated and felt dirty even despite good cleaning service. The beds were also not comfortable. Finally, we were looking forward to the rooftop pool, however after checking in we learned that it wouldn’t open until July despite temperatures in the 90s. All in all ok value.

Very close to the subway station. The only problem is the three o’clock check in is very slow due to short of counter staff for such a big hotel and the self check in kiosk is not user friendly and easy to use and end up has to line up again at the counter.
