Komodo Island Cheap Vacations

Hotel is very well located and room was very good too. But the check-in process was weird. We booked for 2 adults and 2 kids and here on hotels.com it is written sleeps 4. As soon as we arrived they wanted to charge extra for making up the sofa bed and give towels to the kids. Nowhere in the site it is written this extra tax exists. So it was very weird. We open the chat with hotels.com and they couldn’t comunicate with hotel and our kids slept without linen and cover because we refused to pay extras. I guess they made discount for last minute bookings and then wanted to charge the difference for the discount. It was very uncomfortable and I am not sure it’s a good attittude with guests.

Great relaxing place. The most comfortable bed I have ever slept on! I wish I could bring it home!! Menu was a bit basic as well aa breakfast. They need to ensure breakfast stays warm. Other than that, excellent hotel. They would benefit from increasing their shuttle service given there is nothing around the hotel area.

We've been very impressed with this place so far. The main downside is that it's a good ways outside of downtown Labuan Bajo, but honestly, that's not necessarily a bad thing. It's still a short drive or Grab ride into town and they offered pick up and drop off to the property included. The villa itself is beautiful. The private pool is immaculate and our kids loved swimming in the afternoon (after about 1PM the sun is in the west and leaves most of the pool aread nicely shaded). The kitchen area is great. Full fridge and freezer. Gas ranges (though we didn't use them). Bit TV in the living area (though we didn't use that either). We asked about laundry and they picked it up and did it for us with no issues. The bathrooms are excellent, with rainfall shower heads and plenty of very nice soap and shampoo. We did notice some ants in the villa but we mentioned it to the host and they immediately found the source and took care of it. The property is wonderful and the host has been super responsive so we feel very lucky to have found this place!

Really amazing property! Gorgeous and the staff are so attentive and helpful. The jetty was so perfect for Sunny days - can jump into the water and it’s perfect. There’s a bar at the end that will keep you hydrated. Every spot in the hotel was ideal for watching the sunset. Amenities were great, the only reason for 4 stars is that so many of them were behind a “paywall.” When you’re paying this much per night, you would hope that snorkel gear is provided free of charge at the least! With that said, they had a nice yoga/stretching class for free and a well maintained gym.
