The staff was excellent. Overall quality and beauty of the property was outstanding. Room cleanliness was good. But a lot of long hairs (not ours) in the bathtub. We chose this hotel because it had a pool. But unfortunately the pool was closed for months of renovation. We were not advised of this prior to booking. That was disappointing and we sould not have chosen this hotel for the reason.

A Reliable Classic – Great Value in a Central Location Fiesta Americana is a classic Guadalajara hotel — practical, safe, and offering excellent value compared to the newer hotels that have opened up around the city. Its central location is a major plus, and you can almost always count on availability, which makes it a dependable choice for last-minute trips. The staff is truly the highlight of this property. Many of the employees have been there for years, and it shows — they’re warm, polite, and genuinely helpful. That kind of seasoned hospitality is becoming harder to find, and it really sets the tone for the stay. That said, I wouldn’t recommend it as a destination for dining or drinks — the restaurant and bar aren’t really the reason to come here. The room was clean overall, but I did notice a mosquito or two and ended up with a few bites, which was a minor downside. Would I stay here again? Yes, absolutely — for a quick business trip or a solo stay, it’s a solid pick. For a family vacation, though, I’d probably look elsewhere. But as a practical, well-priced, centrally located classic, Fiesta Americana still delivers.
