Southern Vietnam Beach Vacations

The resort is tired and needs a really big renovation. Loungers are breaking, and the water sports equipment is broken and they are not replacing it so there are literally no activities in the resort at all. Bathrooms are tired and not very clean. Outdoor furniture by the rooms have no cushions so too uncomfortable to be sat on. They won’t even give you an iron and want to charge for everything. Staff are friendly but need training. We ordered the kids two spag bowls one night and one arrived and the other took another 40 mins to arrive. Restaurant and resort is a bit soulless with little atmosphere. Breakfast buffet is ok. They offer an airport shuttle but apparently it was fully booked when we tried to book it. The location isn’t great - you have to order a taxi or grab to go anywhere. Nothing is in walking distance of the resort. The private beach is so small, you can’t fit a lounger on there and it disappears at high tide. This place is definitely not 4 star!!

This was a hidden gem. The breakfast buffet with the stay is amazing. Eggs to order and lots of good food. The room had a fantastic view. The staff were remarkable. Front desk lady was beyond accomodating. They even gave me an electric fan to use for the room to help me sleep. Massages were top notch at the spa! The beach was clean and very nice with great lounge chairs. I personally prefered the resort beach more than Sao Beach which was heavily polluted. I highly recommend this resort.

A great place to relax and enjoy the beach and pool. Staff were all lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. Great WiFi across the whole property. Plenty of options to walk out to although the food at the bar and restaurant is superb so we ate there every evening.

The gardens around the property were lush and beautiful. It was a tropical oasis. The beach was clean and sandy and the water warm. There were ample beach chairs and the atmosphere around the pool was peaceful and serene. No screaming children or loud music. The bed was huge and comfortable and the room spacious. We used the gym facilities and they were top notch and played a game of pool in the covered games area. But the breakfast was enough to warrant booking this place. It was incredible. Anything your heart could desire and all artfully presented. It was a highlight every day. The staff were consistently cheerful and attentive. This place definitely earns its stellar reputation.

Great location. Would recommend

The room was large and the view and private pool was very good. The bed wasn't very comfortable and the linens and towels were very basic. The food at breakfast and dinner was OK and reasonably priced. There were insufficient loungers by the sandy beach, others were available but it was rocky and you couldn't easily swim in the sea. Whilst there were plenty of restaurants, supermarkets and spas in the nearby village, it was a challenge to get any grab drivers to come to the hotel and you could easily wait 30mins and usually this was only because someone had been dropped off. The walk to the village was about 1.2km, but it is a little up and down and when the temperature is about 37c it isn't great. The resort has a number of golf carts which they could have used to have a regular shuttle service for guests or even charge for the service, but they restrict your use of these vehicles to your day of arrival & departure only and within the hotel area. If I return to Phu Quoc I will choose a more convenient location.
