Central Maui Beach Vacations

We had a wonderful stay at the Fairmont Kea Lani and would absolutely return in the future. Our suite was beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. The rooms were always clean and well maintained, and the entire property was spotless and clearly very well cared for. The amenities were excellent, and we especially enjoyed spending time at the beach. The water was amazing, clean, and beautiful. We also really appreciated that the hotel provided chairs and an umbrella for our family each day. That made our beach experience much more relaxing and enjoyable. The only thing we felt was missing was a small bar or restaurant closer to the beach, as it was a bit inconvenient having to walk all the way back up toward the pool area for food and drinks. Our only other disappointment was on our departure day. We had a late flight and asked whether there was a hospitality room where our family could freshen up for about 30 minutes before heading to the airport. Unfortunately, the hotel was unable to accommodate us and did not offer another option. After staying several days at the resort, we had hoped there might be a little more flexibility or assistance with this request. Aside from that, everything about our stay was excellent. The property, rooms, amenities, and beach were all fantastic. We had a great family vacation and look forward to coming back in the future.

Luxury condo right on Wailea beach with restaurants and shops nearby. I loved the beach view adult only pool, and that it was crowded.

There is an overall lack of genuine service. You feel very rushed and staff is just looking to charge everything to your room. Lack of food options for families with young kids. The pool is not as nice as advertised, the lazy river is small and the slides only open for a limited time each day, the water elevator was broken and the snorkeling is just putting on equipment no fishes. Extra charge for umbrellas at the beach. $80 daily charge for valet is excessive with the car just sitting there for days. The pool haus staff is very short and rude, constantly trying to over sell and upgrade. The spa staff was not welcoming, made you feel like you’re inconveniencing them yet paying a very high price per service. The ocean view room was obstructed by trees in the garden, not worth the upcharge. Walls were very thin we could hear the room next door. Room Amenities are sub par for a Waldorf resort . The grounds are well maintained and access to the beach is nice however this can be found other places. We will not be returning.

The property and the unit we stayed in was absolutely amazing. The balcony was right over the private beach and it’s also where the sunset so the view was beautiful. Right out the front door was the pool and spa and a few steps more and you’re on the beach. The unit was very clean and decorated so cute and had every amenity in the kitchen and bathrooms you could need. It was so peaceful and the beach was clean and water was prestige. The management company was super easy to deal with and loved my daily text of sunset and sunrise times and word of the day such a cute touch! I will definitely go back and will be requesting the same unit that was ideally positioned if possible. The entire property was beautiful and the secluded beach was amazing

What an amazing stay. This a review that I am happy to leave....The apartment was spacious, comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. Pictures are absolutely accurate. It was such a relief to come home to a cool apartment, our snacks in the kitchen, 2 showers, so no wait..... Beach supplies, chairs, umbrellas, towels, even coolers! Our family even took advantage of board games at night. Location was great, close to all...pool and hot tub were great in the evening...Beach on site made for some beautiful walks finding different corral and turtle watching. You cannot beat being central to everything....Hana, Haleakala, Paia, Lahaina, 15-20 from the airport. Apartment was clean, building is clean, kept, safe...and no issues with parking! We locked ourself out once (my fault) and had a response with an immediate solution...and even were graciously able to extend ourselves for a late check out. The property has a great location and good facilities. I felt that their charges for extra services and facilities were excessive. The room was expensive and I object to their adding another $100 per night for a "resort fee" and self parking.
