Val d'Orcia All inclusive Vacations

We stayed at Il Malaspina for 6 days this April and everything about the hotel was perfect! We got there early on check in day and they held our luggage while we went out to lunch. When we returned not only was our room ready, but our luggage was already in the room waiting for us. Housekeeping cleaned the room daily and left it immaculate. The first night our room was a little warm for me and I couldn’t figure out how to get it cooler. Went to the front desk the next day and they are able to control each rooms temperature, so the rest of our stay the room temp was just right. Now the breakfast, omg the breakfast! A huge variety and so so good. You feel like you are at an upscale restaurant and there is such a good variety we didn't get tired of it even after a week. In fact, I am really missing the pistachio croissants now that we are home! Hot eggs, bacon, sausage every day, plus a wide variety of cold meats and cheeses. Yogurt, tons of pastries, toast with many toppings, and probably many things I’m forgetting. Plus a variety of juices and a very fancy self service coffee machine that can make about 8 different drinks. The hotel is in walking distance to every thing in Florence, longest walk was about 40 min to Piazzele Michaelangelo but so worth it, don’t miss sunset there when visiting! Very convenient to SM Novella train station for traveling outside of Florence, but far enough it feels extremely safe at all times of day and night. Cannot recommend Il Malaspina enough!

This hotel is in a fantastic location. Has a great bar to hang at when you’re done for the day. Comfortable seating outside. Staff okay at restaurant but not great. Morning staff for breakfast was awesome attentive and kind. Front desk team is super helpful. We had superior room that was very small. Shower didn’t work right. We didn’t complain but if you’re looking for space this is not the place. Guests in other rooms not respectful of other guests and walls are super thin. Grateful for gym but equipment needs updating soon. There is a great courtyard to hang out in as well. There are great restaurants nearby, gelato and stores. We walked to Train Station for trip to Rome. Housekeeping did a fantastic job. In all this is a great spot for adventures in Florence.

This hotel is really beautiful and in a PERFECT, central location. Definitely check out the rooftop for some stunning views!

I particularly love the authenticity of the building being hundreds of hundreds of years old and yet well cut, beautiful staff beautiful spa only lacking in the dining aspect but everything else was perfect. Highly recommend but recommend going out for dinner.

The hotel is in a perfect location- walking distance to everything. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. The hotel is charming, spotless and offers a lovely buffet breakfast. Highly recommend. We will definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Villa Sul'Arno in early April. The accommodation was amazing, a beautifully conceived and comfortable junior suite with a balcony overlooking the river. The rooms were peaceful and calming, ideal for relaxing. The breakfasts were delicious with a wide range of great fresh produce. Staff were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Although a little further from the historic centre we found the location to be wonderful next to the river. The hotel runs a courtesy shuttle bus, which is quick and convenient. Food at the restaurant id excellent and room service is speedy and served quickly and directly. The spa and pools were well thought out and aesthetically stunning and a joy to use. The gym is compact, but still functional. I would happily recommend the Villa Sul'Arno and am certainly going to return. Thank you to Claudia and the Team for looking after us so well.
