"Stayed at the hotel for our honeymoon and it was an incredible experience. The view is simply breathtaking and the castle is extremely charming. Food (breakfast and diner) and wine at the restaurants are high quality, inspired and locally sourced, though expensive. Their Brunello is VERY good. The thermal spa experience is unique in the region and is awsome, especially during the fall season when it is cooler outside. The room was super clean and the staff was very helpful throughout the entire week, and we felt welcomed at any time of day. 15 min by car from Montalcino, strongly recommend to rent a car since it is slightly remote. Overall 9.5/10, strongly recommend for a special occasion."

"The views and walks are amazing. This place is not for people who are not fit to walk uphill. It was perfect for us. I spent all day walking around and ended up getting 77 flights climbed on my fitness app. The check-in time ends at 6 but you can ask for self check-in. The closest 2-hour limit parking is about 250 m from the property. The overnight parking is another 100 m short walk downhill. The rooms were spacious, we loved the large tub in the bathroom. We also loved the views from our windows."

"An Incredible Terrace with the Most Amazing Views! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The hotel is beautifully restored and in a fantastic location in Pienza, just off Piazza Pio II. Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, with good bedding and a lovely large bathroom. The room itself was simple but very comfortable and had everything we needed. However, the absolute highlight of this hotel is the terrace. The views across the Val d’Orcia are quite simply out of this world! You could sit there for hours just taking it all in. We honestly think it must be the best spot in the whole of Pienza to enjoy those incredible Tuscan views. The staff were attentive and welcoming, and breakfast was also good. We would highly recommend staying here, especially for the terrace. If you want to experience the beauty of Tuscany from a truly breathtaking viewpoint, this is the place to stay!"
