This hotel was everything I was looking for. The quality and sheer luxury and amenities were truly astounding, especially for the price. It was honestly quite a royal experience. I was extremely impressed with the view and the rooms and everything provided for me. I wish I had stayed here the whole time. The views were immaculate and despite being right by the airport you couldn’t hear a single plane from inside the room. It really was profound how comfortable and serene this experience was despite being so close. I loved that there was free parking available and the access to laundry and other conveniences was a huge benefit. My check-in process was quick and simple and they let me check in early too which was a huge win. I even got a free upgrade! I was overall just very impressed with this location especially considering how welcoming and attentive they were. I come from a diverse and unique background and I was so thankful they treated me with respect and care.

We just returned from a fantastic stay at the InterContinental San Diego, and it truly exceeded our expectations in almost every way. This hotel boasts a prime waterfront location that makes it the ideal base for visiting all the city’s most important attractions. Whether you prefer walking or using public transport, everything is conveniently close. We easily walked to the Gaslamp Quarter, Seaport Village, the Convention Center, and the vibrant waterfront promenade multiple times. No car is needed here, the location truly simplifies your entire San Diego experience. We booked a Bay View Suite for two, and the view was breathtaking. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a stunning front-row panorama of the harbor. We spent peaceful mornings watching cruise ships gracefully arriving and departing at the port just across the street. The sight of these massive vessels moving through the bay added a dynamic, almost cinematic feel to our stay and made every wake-up special. The suite itself was outstanding, featuring super comfortable beds that ensured restful nights, spotlessly clean rooms, and impeccable maintenance throughout our visit. The housekeeping team delivered perfect service every single day, leaving the space fresh and organized. Check-in and check-out processes were swift, efficient, and handled with genuine friendliness by the staff, setting a positive tone from the moment we arrived. The hotel building is elegant and well-maintained, with a sophisticated atmosphere

The rooms, facilities, location and amenities are all wonderful. Great property for families. The 4 stars is due to the lack of staff at times. The breakfast buffet was delicious however, during peak hours there were many tables that were not cleaned timely which left us waiting before we could sit. The same was true when attempting to get service poolside. All the staff was so friendly and welcoming, it just felt like they were understaffed. Would definitely return.

I had an issue checking in, it was difficult to get a response quickly. But overall, the apartment is very nice. We had a great stay regardless! The amenities are 5stars!

Spectacular place. Beautiful and so much fun for the kids. The only bummer was the ocean water was contaminated and so we were not able to swim in the ocean. But the pools were amazing.

Pros: The staff was great, rooms were clean, decor was nice, a/c worked. Cons: the elevator and room was super small. Like abnormally small. Made me a little claustrophobic when I was in the elevator. The valet parking was expensive (50 dollars) especially when you are expected to tip- and you should). There was a weird hidden fee of 24 dollars so the 75 dollar deposit went out the door. Started out affordable but got too expensive too quick especially for what it is.

The rooms were kinda small but very clean and beds were comfortable! Having the free Starbucks coffee was nice and the staff was friendly. The area is not great but, better if you are looking to go out to bars etc.. The staff was nice about bringing luggage down and up to your room! Overall it was a great stay for a short weekend!
