What a lovely resort, right on the beach and next door to "walking street" which has many options for bars, restaurants and shops (and ATM's). Although it is next door no issue with noise. Staff very helpful, a very relaxed stay. This resort is rather unique as the only way to it is by boat which made it very special for us. You can see monkeys, lizards and small toucans. Hired a canoe from the resort and visited adjoining beaches - very recommended. Resort arranged trips for us at very reasonable rates.

Beautiful hotel a little inconvenient to get to the beach you will need to have the Bolt app downloaded but otherwise it was amazing!

All was good. But no WiFi and no washer dryer as advertised. Bed and location good though and the front desk guy went above and beyond getting my deposit back

The housekeeping and pool services were excellent, but not for the front desk gals.

The hotel resort looks nice from the outside. But inside our room, you can tell it’s been used up and needed some TLC. The bathroom towels that we had on the first day had dirt on it. Also the towels were old and faded. Please replace it. The room was big and spacious. On one of the days we had our room made, we got into our room and it smelled like poop. We assumed the house keeper took a poop in our toilet because the lid was down and the smell came from the toilet. Also, our toilet flooded so we had to tell the front desk who apologized. We will not be staying here again even though the beach front view was beautiful.

This is not 5 star resort. It is clean and modern but not 5 star standards. Breakfast options very bland and limited. Diner service very slow and they missed orders two times on two different occasion. Let’s call it a 4 star…

The hospitality of the staff was incomparable. Whenever we made a request, they accommodated quickly. The views were amazing from the room and the activities were incredible

Well it was a rocky start, wrong room then broken aircon then a lost transport bus. However this was all fixed rapidly thabks to 2 members of staff the lady on the pink desk and the gentleman in the cafe area. They really are a saving grace for the hotel. Once the problems where fixed the stay was fine and i would advise it for people. The 3pm check in could do with being 2pm like most other hotels but thats really the only thing i would change.

The staff at Phu Dahla were really helpful and friendly throughout my stay. If I ever had any issues, they were quick to try and resolve them and help. Very accommodating. The pool area is really lovely, although sun loungers are limited so I’d recommend going down when the pool opens at 10am to grab one if you wish to spend the day there. They provide towels at reception. I did find that some days my room wasn’t cleaned even though I put the sign on the door and cleaning was very basic. The room is spacious, pretty basic, but having a big fridge/microwave is handy and separate areas of the room. Some days I had work to do, so this was a nice environment to be in, not just a bed to sleep in. It’s important to note that I only paid on average about £36 a night and this was in high season - so considering what I paid, I felt this was excellent given some places charge triple the price for the same standard. Very easy to hire a motorbike, get a taxi or transfer from the hotel down to the main road too which is also only a 10-15 minute walk. I would definitely stay again when I return in future. Staff was super welcoming and attentive. Rooms could use a little updating but you cannot beat the price and the location of this hotel. A quick 2 min Grab ride or 15 min walk will get you right in the heart of Ao Nang Beach/ shopping and endless restaurants. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic and worth every penny!
