Interesting though confusing place. Rooms are big and comfy and hotel locations’ good. But it’s very dark in there - lobby, breakfast room, amenities: no windows whatsoever. Rooms do have windows but there is like 15 different switches to turn on and off the lights and that’s still did not allow me to turn off an armoire (?) or a spot in the bathroom window. When you do turn them off, they turn on by themselves a bit later. I guess you want to have the staff explain that to you or just remove the main card to power the whole room off. So it’s an experience, in any case. Not bad but still different 😆

Excellent hotel with professional service.

Clean spacious and comfy room. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Was a great plus with the free 2 day Leofoo Theme Park passes. Free shuttle to and from the resort to the theme park at the hours as set. Both kids got free gifts and activities at the resort. Loved that we got to sleep next to the Alpaca’s, capybaras and ducks. Theme park was great bonus and didn’t have to purchase separate tickets for. Lots of fun rides but not all were running when we went. Saw a lot of animals up close. Great free buffet breakfast! Ate at their restaurant and got a wonderful performance while we ate. Downside is I wished they had more food options. Only one restaurant to order from and all are set meals. The other option was the buffet restaurant but it was $1850 per adult and I wasn’t very hungry. Lastly, it is a bit of a remote area and took a while to get an uber/taxi from the resort to the airport. So make sure to give yourself extra time because it took me 4-5 tries to get an Uber to take our trip order. Overall kids had lots of fun and we got to see animals up close.

the best choice in alishan, location is good, food is incredible. suggest stay for 2 nights at least .

We had a pleasant one-night stay. The hotel is clean and well-located with polite staff. It's a five star hotel but in actuality, it is a bit dated so it definitely doesn't feel like a 5 star hotel. Pricing reflected this so overall it was good value and perfect for our purposes of traveling with elderly parents and eating with relatives across the street at a solid restaurant in a department store. We also had a pleasant stroll in the evening and listened to a street musician. The chef at the breakfast buffet was super welcoming and chatting with customers. I appreciated his suggestions. Overall, a fine stay although I'd probably stay somewhere more updated if it were a different trip.

WiFi is very slow. The rest is very good, restaurant, breakfast, other amenities in the hotel.
