Very disappointing stay — I would not return Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was very disappointing, especially considering what I expected from a hotel in Cairns. The breakfast was terrible, and even the complimentary coffee served with breakfast was very poor quality. It was definitely not something I looked forward to during my stay. The housekeeping was also far below expectations. For the first four days, the cleaner would go into the bathroom, change the towels, but not actually clean the bathroom. On one occasion, the bed was left unmade simply because my son had left a T-shirt on it. On the fifth day, I had to ask another cleaner to properly clean the bathroom and vacuum the room. The following day, after returning to the hotel following a long day out, I found that the room had not been cleaned at all. Nothing had been touched. I had to call reception and ask them to send someone to clean the room. The hotel has three swimming pools, but none of them are heated, which was disappointing. There is also no spa, and the gym is extremely small with very limited and inadequate equipment. Another major issue for me was the mattress. It was far too soft and uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Overall, there were simply too many issues during our stay. Good housekeeping, comfortable beds, decent breakfast and basic facilities are things I expect from a hotel, and unfortunately this hotel did not meet those expectations.

Perfect

Spent an overnight during peak tourist season. It's a nice resort, about 20 years old with some, but not excessive wear, for its age. Excellent location, excellent property layout with beach access. Room was very good. Buffet breakfast was very good. Free underground parking. My only disappointment was that I booked anticipating use of the outside spa tub but it was closed for some reason (there is a room spa tub, but too confined for me).

Very helpful staff, room was great. Bear in mind if parking, there are not many spaces and the area is very tight to park.

Such a great hotel for seeing the sights in Sydney. Couldn’t be more convenient. It is just steps away from the train from the airport which runs every 10 minutes. And the same distance to the wharfs for the views, dining, shopping and to see the harbour bridge and the opera house. Just perfect. Beautiful room with a view of the opera house. Staff was super nice and helpful. Definitely will stay here again when in Sydney.

Clean, staff were awesome and the breakfast was delicious.
