Ford Island Waterpark Vacations

This is a modern, beutiful hotel across the street from Waikiki. The rooms are very nice.It is in the heart of the Waikiki area. There is a nice pool area with a bar and food service. They have an extraordinary waffle menu. The Maui Brewing Company restaraunt is attached to the hotel. The front deck staff are welcoming and helpful. The one bugaboo is the $42 per day resort fee. I knew about it upfront It is a deceptive way of offering a lower room rate as a first impression. This hotel does not have a shop; however there is a store right around the corner. We were only there for one night, but we had a great stay at this hotel.

Everything was perfect! Thank you to the Marbella Team, our stay was excellent. We enjoyed everything Mākaha valley had to offer. Especially the amazing sunsets! 10/10 would recommend

The beach view was so magnificent and beautiful, the place was super clean and was easy to get to the place.

The Kahala will never disappoint. It is clean, beautiful, calm, quiet. I will always recommend it

nice property,but during check-in I was given and room and then changed shortly after. The final room was near the elevator, facing the AliWai and was a specially designed room, generally smaller than the others. Have to say those higher cost rooms facing the canal are noisy.

Unfortunately the refurbishing of the property while staying there was not what we expected. The noise, dust and construction was less than desirable. When we entered our room upon check in, there was a ladder, vent cover off and hardware on dresser. Was moved to another floor and the construction noise was even worse. Although it only lasted till 3‐ 3;30, coming in from a long flight and time change, all I wanted was a two hour nap. Didn't happen. Early the next morning we were awaken by the fire alarm. After several announcements, it turned out to be a false alarm. Requested a ADA room, but due to construction all the ADA rooms were taken. None of the other rooms have grip bars. For seniors over 55, that is a must have. When you come in from the beach or pool and you have sun nlock on, when washing off, it becomes a slip hazard. Although the staff and location was ideal, I don't think we'll stay here again. There was no appeal to this dated establishment.

An unbelievably pleasant stay. This place is really a gem and very unique kind.

I had corner unit so I overlooked at Bay great firework show on Friday night from Balcony loud cruisers in evening with blaring music heard all the way up to 16th floor not in properties control, Shopping Ala Moana mall almost attached convenient bridge to walk across with out have to cross streets
