The hotel was lovely and clean. Staff is helpful and friendly. Good value for money. Breakfast was good but not exceptional, basic limited options. The location is rather secluded, quite far from the main attractions.

Very clean hotel with the best staff! Mohammed, Omar, Sule and all others were very welcoming and helpful! We had a great experience!

We stayed here for 3 nights and unfortunately had a largely terrible experience. While the spa, indoor swimming pool, and breakfast were good, almost everything else fell far short of acceptable standards, let alone 5 star claims. ​Our room smelled terrible, like a dead rat. When we reported it, staff simply brought room spray, which masked the odor for a few minutes before it came right back. To make matters worse, the AC didn't work and was locked centrally at 28°C with no way for us to turn it down. The toilet and shower were also dirty upon arrival. ​Service was equally disappointing. We left the hotel everyday from 10am and were back at night, yet housekeeping still managed to skip leaving the complimentary 2 water bottles daily. When we called reception to ask about it, we were told the kitchen was closed and that water bottles would cost 150 each, despite them already failing to service the room properly. ​To top it all off, on our last morning at breakfast, a woman approached our table who is supposed to be a guest supervisor. When we politely explained the water situation, she never apologized and only kept arguing with us, claiming they couldn't enter the room, which makes no sense since housekeeping had been in to clean. Terrible service and terrible conditions; we would not recommend staying here.

The staff were amazing. My husband fell on the way into the hotel and they took such good care of him. They got him a seat, water and bandaged a cut with such care. We are very grateful to them for this then they gave us a coffee until our room was ready (which was only 10 mins) and took him up to our room in a wheelchair The room was spotless and spacious and very nice. Outside the hotel we were only a couple of minutes walk from shops, restaurants and the trams so it is in a perfect location. Breakfast had plenty choice and the restaurant served a delicious chicken kebab. When it came time to leave they had booked our taxi which arrived on time A perfect choice and if we return to Istanbul we will certainly go back. Many thanks to all the staff.

We got there late at night and the staff was very helpful and brought our bags to our room and everything. We have a young 1-year-old baby with us so it was very nice that the people were very helpful. They gave us good recommendations for places to go eat and places to go see. My wife and I definitely enjoyed our stay there very much. Also the breakfast was very very good.

Educate the staff more! I asked them to take care of my curtain in my bedroom. They didn't do it. I also asked them. I came to the pool area, and I said, "I would like to go to the pool." I said, "Sorry." They said, "Sorry, we have no more towels." I came to the Sky Bar, and the room was full of smoke. I said, "I thought non-smoking was implicit." They said, "Yes, it does make sense." Please educate your staff! Please educate your staff! Horrible!

I enjoyed my stay very much. The staff was attentive and polite. I had the deluxe Turkish bath at the on site hammam and it was amazing. The massage therapist treated me like a queen. Both nights I had dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed the food. The breakfast buffet had what seemed like an unlimited selection of breads, cheeses, fruits. There was also hot foods that were different both days. I will definitely return the next time I visit Istanbul.

Good clean hotel, helpful staff, enjoyed the stay as within walking distance to Taksim square, would return in future again

Hotel Osman Han is a small 8-9 room hotel located 2-3 blocks from the Blue Mosque, Haggia Sophia, and the Topkapi Palace. Many restaurants and shops steps away. The hotel has a rooftop dining area where the included breakfast is served. Nice views of the Bosphorous from there. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Great value. Recommended.

Good location for sightseeing or business, as the tram stop and subway station are nearby. plus excellent view from the restaurant at the top.
