The Catskills Waterpark Vacations

Walking to all the tourist sites. Area was safe. Staff was very helpful especially in arranging our transportation to the airport. Room was very clean.

Excelente todo

Second time staying at this property and it is amazing. Beautifully appointed rooms, great staff, great bar and restaurant.

I had a GI virus shortly after I arrived, and the staff was so helpful with bringing me the necessities!

Pleasantly surprised with everything about our stay. Staff were friendly and accommodating, room was better than expected, nice roof terrace and right next to a ferry port so easy access to Brooklyn or if you’d like to get a $4.50 ride up to Roosevelt and get the cable car over to Manhattan. Only 2 downsides but wouldn’t put me off staying again: 1. Shower does overflow into the rest of the wet room unless you put a towel down as a barrier. 2. A little further from a subway for commuting to the rest of the city than we are used to when staying in NY. Depending on where you are going, one is 5 mins away and the other is 10 minutes away. But like I said, the ferry is an amazing alternative.

It was a holiday weekend in New York City and hotels were running high so rather than stay in the Time Square area we came to the upper west side to the Beacon hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel was over $800 and it wa the kind of hotel and room I would have stayed at in my late adolescence. It was grungy and had a feeling of being unclean. The room was tiny. The TV didn’t work at first. The lobby looked like a bus station and one man at the desk was rude. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone that I care for. It felt punitive..
