Lovely property in a great location. It was a very busy weekend and I had a single room at a very high price. The bathroom was just redone and spacious. The room itself was so tiny - not great value for money but I suspect at normal prices it’s better. You really have to be in bed if you’re in the room. Helpful friendly staff and good amenities (very nice towels and linens.

Everything was so easy at the hotel. The staff were really helpful and friendly and the rooms were extremely clean. We had a triple room and there was sufficient space in the room. There were toiletries in the bathroom and a water fountain in the corridor. The area was very good and central for places to eat and close to the metro. We walked and enjoyed the beautiful area. We will definitely stay here again.

Rooms were clean, beds are just slightly uncomfortable and the rooms are a bit dim, But overall pleasant.

Breakfast was the best part of this hotel. In particular, the staff at breakfast was amazing. Very friendly and always cheerful. And the food at breakfast was great. The bar was also very nice. The front desk crew was pretty good too. The room was good but very clean. The location was pretty good as well. The biggest problem for us was that our room faced the courtyard and the courtyard sets up a bar with music during the summer. The hours are supposed to end at 10pm (22:00), but each day we had to call down to the front desk to ask them to tell the bar to turn off the music. Note that the bar starts playing the music at 3:30 (15:30). So if you are like us and trying to get through jet lag with a bit more sleep than normal, either get a different room or find a different hotel.

There were plus and minus. the rooms are from a past era. It was exciting to live in historic building. There were no handicap rooms. perhaps description should clearly state. our room 106 was difficult to bring in heavy luggage. the room shade was missing, which in summer when sun comes up at 3am is not workable the bathroom door would not close completely, the beds were very soft and sagging. there is no elevator for upstairs or downstairs rooms the buffet breakfast was good but food items ran out if we came after 8 am opening. Okay this was July when staff is on semester. workout room was with very limited equipment. It was pet friendly which made for barking dogs when left in rooms. If the manager was there which she was on semester, we would have moved out.

We had a late checkin and the hotel told us to inform the late arrival for key collection procedures as no one will be at the front desk. We informed them of late arrival. After 4 phone calls and 3 mail, no procedure for late arrival. Each time we called they said they will provide the instruction in the next few hours. No reply to the mail. They just spoiled our day of check in keeping us in very uncertain state.
