"Had a wonderful 3 night stay here. Originally a prison, it has been converted into a quirky, comfortable hotel retaining many of the features. The bedrooms were cells, small but well equipped with ensuite bathrooms. The position is slightly outside the centre of Stockholm but all the better. Situated on a lovely peaceful island within walking distance to Gamla Stan and the museums. The breakfast is amazing with an enormous variety of choices. The staff were friendly and helpful. "Beautiful area with a view of the beach and many walking trails, walking distance to public transport and a small square with shops and restaurants. The rooms are small but clean, there is a shared shower room, shared bathrooms, and a shared kitchen. You will need to clean up after yourself if cooking. The staff is only there in the morning but very kind and helpful. It is a good place to stay if you like hostels."
