Ko Yao Noi Ski Vacations

Pictures online are definitely old. Quite run down. Not a bad location as in distance to town but up a huge hill which is difficult to walk and will cost more to get a taxi or took took up. Room wasn’t great with not much of a view. Mattress was hard. Staff were lovely and changed to a different room with no bother or charge. New room was lovely and much more updated. Comfy bed but kept slipping between the two beds pushed together. No lift and had to climb 3 flights of stairs to get to room. Nice pool but chemically out of whack with the colour changing from Clear and blue to green over the course of the week. Overall was a bit disappointed with higher and different expectations but was clean enough and staff were lovely and welcoming. Could not fault the service.

The pictures we seen on our booking are not what the hotel really look like there is construction everywhere and it’s very difficult to get sleep with all the noise. Also the language. Barrier is very bad. They should have someone who can speak English. I can send pictures if you would like

This hotel was beautiful. The staff were very courteous and helpful. We really enjoyed the location, the he shuttle bus to the beach was timely and it is really a 10 minute ride to the beach. The beach has umbrellas and chairs for rent 200thb. Breakfast buffet was extensive, you will be able to find many food choices. We really appreciated the surprised “happy birthday pastry” for my husband. Great and dedicated staff. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

It was near the airport and we didn’t hear any planes flying by, very quiet. We also saw the resort while on our plan taking-off. Outside the resort seemed to be a lot of restaurant but we didn’t spend enough time to walk around to enjoy them. While I was there the water park was closed. The front desk said they should be open in October and it actually looked fun, as a 39 year old I would go. Breakfast was delicious, staff was wonderful, resort was clean, they had a shuttle running continuously, I actually enjoyed my stay. Well done Splash Beach resort, well done!

The hotel is a little distance from Patong Beach (although the hotel provides a shuttle bus). The hotel does not have its own beach. The hotel is beside a highway, and there are only a few restaurants nearby. It sounds as if this is not the best holiday hotel choice,right? But you just need to check in.Then you will find that this is a surprisingly good hotel.Because the hotel is located on the hillside, the sea view is very spectacular. The staff are all friendly and always have a smile.With a person with limited mobility the front desk team Joe Sordy and LOH took extra care of us. And lovely Ms.Noodang at breakfast restaurant was so kind to us.She not only explained everything in detail. And make sure our table is clean and the cups are full.She also took the initiative to recommend us and sent us the special dessert of the day. Then let's talk about the breakfast.Hotels in Thailand have never short of a good breakfast.But the breakfast at Kalima is unbelievable.Whether it is the variety or the quality of food.For example you may find bubble breakfast in many hotels.But Kalima take it to an other level.You can even make your own highball here.Such a good breakfast plus a good view what else could you ask for a holiday?
