This was a great hotel. The rooms were super clean and spacious. the staff was very attentive. Having a washer and dryer in the room was fantastic. The large refrigerator helped as well as the kitchenette with utensils. The bathroom was large and very clean. It had a double sink which is very helpful in the morning when we are trying to get ready and out the door. Would definitely stay here again. And did i mention how great the staff was.

Loved, loved, loved this hotel. It was a 4 minute walk to Hamamatsucho station which is on the Yamanote line and away from the hustle and bustle. Although there is a train line next to the hotel you don't hear them after certain time. The staff were absolutely amazing! We first went to the wrong hotel and one of the staff members gave us directions to the right hotel but then got on his bicycle and followed us to ensure we were going to the right hotel. The staff were so kind, super helpful and responsive. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again. I booked the Japanese style room was was big for 3 of us and enough space for our suitcases. It has a washer/dryer in the room which was convenient. 7/11 and 2 Lawson's just around the corner. 800m walk to the Tokyo Tower which has a nice restaurant.

Great hotel and onsen was amazing. Transportation was a bit of a hassle for us but we made it work. Overall experience at hotel was top tier.

The elevated views over Tokyo only add to the experience. What truly made the stay unforgettable, however, was the people. Jane at the front desk was absolutely fabulous — warm, professional, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure every aspect of my stay was perfect.Housekeeping maintained the room flawlessly each day, always with incredible care and precision. The bell staff were consistently courteous, welcoming, and eager to assist. A very special thank you as well to Elaine del Rosario from in-room dining, who went above and beyond throughout my stay. No request ever felt too small or too ridiculous — every need was met with kindness, efficiency, and grace. That level of personalized service is what transforms a beautiful hotel into a truly memorable experience. Yet as a vegetarian, the food choices were very limited and the spa far too pricey. Nonetheless, bravo!

I really enjoyed my stay at GRAND MONday Ueno Okachimachi. The best part was definitely the 2nd floor because it had the gym, sauna, vending machine and public bath all right there together. It was so convenient to finish a workout and go straight into the spa to relax. The front desk is staffed and they are super helpful. Having a washer/dryer and a full fridge made everything so much easier. It’s also in a great spot—super close to the station and within walking distance to the markets and Akihabara. I’d definitely stay here again!
