Great Lakes Romantic Vacations

Palmer House is an excellent location. Plenty of restaurants, parks and shopping are nearby. The subway is just outside one of the exits. The hotel is huge, with exits to four different streets. A bar, restaurant, coffee shop, Starbucks and a sweet shop all convenient in the hotel area. I marked 4/5 starts only because of the size of our room. Tiny! So check with them if you need a larger space. Overall, a great trip.

Staff was friendly and very accommodating during the check in process. The property and rooms were very clean. This location was in walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. We didn’t rent a vehicle and enjoyed the walk around the city downtown area… We arrived wayyyy before check in time and the staff did hold our bags for us at the front desk which allowed us to not have to worry about lagging our bags around with us while we enjoyed the city until check in time.. Definitely would stay here again!

This was our first stay at the Fairmont Royal York, and we were very impressed with the amazing customer service from all of the staff. Our room was not spacious, but it was very clean, had all the amenities we needed, and had very comfortable beds and pillows. Would return again if we have the opportunity!

Everything about this hotel is on point. The staff is professional and gracious. The property is extremely well maintained. They leave no detail of your comfort unaddressed.

We loved this hotel from the 180 view of downtown and lake to the friendly staff, quiet comfortable room and bed, the text reminders about service and the location cant be beat. 5 minutes union station walking. A beautiful building itself surrounded by magnificent architecture. We had an amazing experience.
