Calgary-Edmonton Corridor Romantic Vacations

We enjoyed our massage at the spa! Room was nice. Great location.

We enjoyed our stay at the Palliser Fairmont Hotel, a lovely former CP Hotel in downtown Calgary. Very well appointed rooms, with adequate in room amenities. It is easy walking distance to restaurants and shopping. On the down side, valet parking is recommended and is very expensive. There is no casual coffee shop in the hotel, only an eating/drinking bar or main dining room and not convenient for early departing quests. There is a coffee machine in the room, but ours didn’t work. There were noisy quests in the room next door and we could every word, very irritating.

I had a wonderful day and I paid extra for the breakfast, which was wonderful. I also met Andrea the housekeeper who was so friendly and helpful. She even gave me a hug when I was checking out! Lovely people.

Would have been nice to have a breakfast voucher as breakfast wasn’t included in the room and price was already pretty expensive, otherwise the area was great, all the staff especially the valet staff were wonderful
