Central Nicaragua Romantic Vacations

My wife and I stayed here 5 years ago and loved it. We came back hoping to re-experience the same fun but unfortunately it was a bit underwhelming. While not a bad hotel by any stretch, LA (post covid) has really gone downhill and that's reflected in many of their hotels. The rooms are a bit worn, the colors a bit faded, scratch-marks on the walls or floorboards that wouldn't have existed a few years ago are present. It just fell a bit flat. Let me be clear, I would stay here again! But namely when traveling for business. It just wasn't the cute/special little artsy hotel we experienced as newlyweds.

The bathroom shower needs some shelves to place my soap and toiletries etc...

Really smashing team, always courteous and incredibly helpful. Lovely rooms with well appointed bathrooms and supply of toiletries. Only improvement that could be made to room would be the inclusion of tea and coffee making facility (though the room had the best stocked mini bar I’ve seen in a while). Hotel location was good - close enough to walk to principal sights but far enough to feel calm and quiet. Good eating options nearby too. Don’t miss a sundowner in the hotel’s rooftop cocktail lounge looking out over Rome.

No frills hotel. May or may not come back. Pros: Might be the only decent hotel in the area. High tech and very modern boutique hotel. Conveniently located between little Italy and Chinatown. Subway is a few blocks away. Food is plentiful with many different cuisine options. And some restaurants give a discount with the NobleDEN hotel key card. Hand held shower head that rotates for a massage. Good fan in the toilet room. Cons: Housekeeping is every 2 days. Looks like they sweep the floors because not everything was cleaned. And glass cups used will not be cleaned. 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels, but no face towels. You only get toiletry amenities when you arrive, which includes travel toothbrushes and toothpaste, 2 make up wipes, 1 comb, cotton ear swabs, and 2 sanitary bags. Mini fridge barely stays cold. And it’s empty from the start so no mini bar items. You don’t get extra bottles of water. You only get 2 the first day. You have to get hot or cold water from a dispenser downstairs with paper cups. Coffee and bigelow tea is offered for all guests. Soda is $2. TV is spotty where the program cuts off while watching. The shower doesn’t have privacy. It might be frosted glass but you have to get out of the shower without privacy. Even if you grab a towel, you can’t change your clothes in the shower with wet floors. So you better be intimate with the person you’re rooming with or it could get uncomfortable. Best is to get another room.

One of the highlights of our stay was being able to walk around at night people watching and the lights at Times Square. Our hotel location made this possible.

We never got breakfast because the line was so long — we waited over an hour and had to leave. Very disappointed

Room was very clean. Great location. Staff were all very pleasant. Glad we came here.

The hotel had me checking out after one night, but my reservation were for four nights
