Nuns' Island Romantic Vacations

I was extremely disappointed with my stay, especially considering the price. I booked this hotel back in 2025, nearly a year before my trip, and had been looking forward to it for so long. Unfortunately, I genuinely wish I had stayed somewhere else. The biggest issue was how absolutely freezing the room was. The hardwood floors made it feel even colder, and no slippers or robes were provided. The thermostat did not work despite countless attempts to adjust it. I even researched how to operate it before calling the front desk, only to be told to check that the windows were closed and try turning it off. Neither suggestion helped. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable, with a rock-hard mattress and thin, flat bedding instead of a proper duvet. The housekeeping noise was also SHOCKING. Every single morning, there was an unbelievable amount of loud banging. I genuinely could not believe how disruptive it was, especially at a hotel charging these prices. Several lamps were also crooked and damaged. The one thing I appreciated was the complimentary breakfast delivered outside the door each morning. It was a lovely touch, especially because they didn't disturb you. Overall, the room was cold, uncomfortable, noisy, and poorly maintained. After looking forward to this stay for nearly a year, I left incredibly disappointed. I expected so much better for the price.

I arrived late after a stressful trip. On the spot, they pushed my restaurant reservation back 30 minutes. The room was very nice, with excellent light controls, a good bed and a great bathroom. Everything i wanted for a quick overnight trip.

Beautiful hotel, great staff. Very happy with our stay. Highly recommend.
