This property on my staying workers working on the elevator, and the elevators need maintenance.

It is a ok hotel, definitely not a 4 star hotel, there was broken items in the rooms, room service did not speak any English to take any order which is very disorganised coming from a apparent 4 star hotel, the room safe was broken, receptionist said that they would send someone to fix it, but no one came throughout my entire stay to fix it..

We had a wonderful experience celebrating my daughter’s birthday in Rio de Janeiro. She chose the Nacional Hotel for this special occasion, and it truly exceeded our expectations. We especially enjoyed the pool, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive throughout our stay. A special thank you to Diego, who provided exceptional service at all times and made us feel very welcome. My daughter was delighted to find a small birthday cake and a thoughtful greeting note waiting in our room such a lovely surprise that made the celebration even more memorable. Thank you for making this trip so special for us!

I had a great overall stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was very good. The only downside was that the breakfast options were almost the same every day, which can get repetitive if you’re staying for a longer period like I did. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, which really made a difference. The location is also a big plus, with a short and easy distance to the beach. The only real disappointment was that the gym and sauna were not working during my stay. Overall, a pleasant experience with just a few minor areas for improvement.
