Beautiful grounds and complex with cutural touches everywjere including the rooms in particular. Lovely, caring staff.

Great location! Away from the hustle bustle and close enough to great restaurants, sunset venues and beaches. Note there really isn’t a beach out front but plenty of swimmable beaches close by. We stayed in a pool access room - well worth the upgrade as the rooms towards the front of the hotel lack privacy and exposed to late night music. The chilled pool and terraced restaurant are highlights! Staff are incredibly sweet and friendly. Menu is hit and miss. Order the pork belly and sweet potato fries! Bfast every morning is delicious and good people watching. Seriously best coffee! Double shot lattes. Sleeping was comfortable with nightly turn down service and air conditioned rooms. We left doors open and fan on. Roosters and birds are a nice way to wake up around 5am. They also serve afternoon tea with selection of tea, coffee and light bites complimentary to pool villas.

Absolutely Loved Our Stay at Katamaran We had such an amazing time at Katamaran! From the moment we arrived, everyone made us feel so welcome and genuinely cared for. Huge shoutout to Pak Hendra, Dwi, Ika, Edi, Remi, Pardi, Adi, and so many others who were just fantastic the whole way through. The service was excellent in the most natural way — super friendly, kind‑hearted people who really go out of their way for you without ever making it feel formal or forced. Every day we felt looked after, and every interaction came with a smile. The place is beautiful, but honestly, it’s the people who make Katamaran special. We left with full hearts and can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend to anyone who wants great vibes, great service, and truly wonderful people.

Stunning views, great concept and potential. Villas tastefully decorated as is the whole property. Don’t like that the restaurant manager jumped on us and demanded to know what time we would come for breakfast. Every meal we had in the restaurant had ingredients missing from the dishes as described in the menu / I understand, given remote location, they can run out of stock, but at least acknowledge that and let the diner know that core ingredients wouldn’t be in the dish. Sadly out of our two nights there was a party next door and the music blared so loudly til 3:40 am that our windows reverberated with the base - and we got no sleep. That was a real let down for me - so desperate wad I to get Some sleep. Otherwise so remote it was a good place to chill out. Impossible to find the light switches in the rooms and to light up the path to the gates of Villa / please make clearer. Lovely spa with very good therapists and there is an effort to put on activities for children and families. Breakfast excellent even with missing ingredients. Dinner also very nice with sent variety and choice. Great cocktails and staff already keen to please and help.

The room was a bit cramped but otherwise good. The sloping sideways stairs were a bit of a challenge. The pool is good and staff were efficient and friendly.

Staff was so kind, very accommodating. Air conditioning was great as was the wifi.
