We loved our stay at Apollo Boutique Hotel! Very efficient check-in and check-out process, friendly staff, and clean rooms. Great location, quiet rooms, a 5 minute walk to the metro station and Tiber River pathway. If we ever find ourselves in Rome again, we would definitely stay here!

Rooms have beautifully traditional decor but have fine modern features like step-in showers and adequate air conditioning. Hotel is on a quiet, elegant, leafy residential street, but still convenient. It is in an early 1900's building that resembles a mansion but had been a US Embassy building.
Most importantly, staff is especially knowledgeable and helpful.

Beware of the poodle room expectations. Even if you have a platinum American Express, there is a whole protocol to enter this room. Manager of this room was not accommodating or helpful. Very disappointing.
