Hanoi Romantic Vacations

We had a wonderful three-night stay here. The location is absolutely perfect in the Old Quarter of Hanoi. The staff were truly amazing and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Every time we entered the reception, we were greeted with warm smiles and incredible hospitality. The staff definitely made our stay very special. Overall we couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely recommend.

Angela was helpful from the beginning. The hotel is perfectly situated in the middle of everything and had everything we needed. It is the old quarter so there is some age to the building, but the rooms are remodeled with new bathrooms, furniture, and all other basic amenities. Highly recommend this was perfect

If you want to be in the heart of the city while still having a first rate hotel experience this is it.

Loved everything about our stay

What a beautiful hotel. Only stayed one night. Got upgraded free drink at the bar. After communication with the hotel from Jane for a hotel transfer, I found her to be fast at connecting and organising. The pool, bar and restaurant are top notch. Staff super friendly and welcoming. Great location too

Great location in Hanoi's old quarter and by Hoan Kiem lake.

If you want a luxurious place to stay in Hanoi, The Sofitel Metropole Hotel should be at the top of your list. Built in 1901, it retains echoes of the French colonial era. The service was excellent throughout; from the reception to the breakfast area, and our favourite, the pool bar! Our room was very clean, comfortable and spacious, with a smart TV that allowed us to connect to various services such as Netflix and You Tube. One minor point to note for visitors from the UK - the power point accept UK plugs without an adaptor, which is very handy indeed! This was our second visit to Hanoi. We stayed here for 7 days this trip and we were very sad to leave! Thank you to the all the staff at the Metropole; thank you Hanoi and thank you Vietnam. We will definitely be returning.
