Beautiful property with great view and large pool area. Easy beachfront front access property with lounge chairs and towel service. Great villa with hotel service, daily cleaning with replenshing of toiletries with the facility of a villa with own kitchen. Restaurant, bar and store within villa..

New hotel, good restaurants, lots of pools and staff was great.

Clean rooms, well stocked toiletries, comfortable bedding, ambiance, and food options. The room service for food was a bit lacking in that it took more than two hours to get our food in the room.

This property was beautiful and well kept. The staff were very friendly and the food was great. If you’re looking for a relaxing vacation with just the right amount of entertainment this is a great location. I would definitely visit again!!

did a lot of research when trying to find a place to stay in Mexico and these reviews helped! So I’ll share my honest opinion.. First of all we chose Playa Del Carmen over Cancun because we wanted a little more wildlife and we are not into the party scene. The resort was really good. It isn’t bougie or luxurious, but well maintained, safe and clean. We did think it was mostly beautiful. The restaurants were great, steakhouse was best. Staff was super nice. We had everything we needed… the beach is OK. It isn’t the most beautiful beach. It’s not very expansive and you can’t really go out into the water and explore much. However you can walk up the coastline and find some nice spots to look for shells, etc. The beaches are definitely better up in Cancun… we upgraded to a room that had a swim out balcony, which was really lovely. I don’t think we would have swam quite as much if the pool wasn’t right outside of our room so that was really fun. However, the pool is ice cold! I’m not sure how they accomplish getting the water so cold but it’s a good 10 to 20° colder than the ocean even LOL .., we did have a coatimundi animal break into our room and trash it one day so keep your doors locked when not there! But the animals are awesome, we saw wild monkeys, deer and iguanas all over.. the resort is not crowded. It was really peaceful. Good restaurants. I’d stay here again. Having all inclusive was so convenient. Bring money to tip everyone though… we did Xcaret and it was just ok.

Room was clean, staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Food was good. We had a wonderful Christmas here. They should take reservations for dinners and allow you to control the thermostat in the room, even if its just the fan on/off. Honestly, if i had been able to sleep well because it was cool enough I would give 5 stars!! Wait staff around the pool were amazing, especially JJ..wooaa wooa!!

Everything was amazing

Amazing vacation. Our second time staying at The Grand and it was great. The rooms are huge and very clean, the staff is so lovely and helpful. There is tons to do with kids and the beaches are beautiful. We will book again. Loved it all.
