The Pierre is historic, located directly East of Central Park, and seemingly maintains a five star rating for precisely those attributes. The attractively priced suites are all interior facing on dimly lit lower floors. Don't expect to be upgraded for sunlight and a view without paying double. Also, room rates with 'breakfast included' have a restaurant credit, not a hotel credit. Ordering from the in-room breakfast menu simply to take advantage of my 'perk' resulted in hundreds of dollars in disputable charges. My membership in Taj's loyalty program resulted in zero benefits, which is a bit surprising as the company only operates two properties in North America.

Great experience overall!

We absolutely loved Nobleden! The location is excellent. You are right in the middle of Chinatown and little Italy! If you’re a foodie this place is perfect! The hotel gives a discount card for many places around the area. All the food we tried was delicious. You are also near the cheapest souvenirs. Walking distance to the metro. The hotel is clean and the staff is so friendly. They have a microwave and water available downstairs and can’t beat the rooftop views. We would definitely stay again!

We had to move rooms three times. First because the HVAC unit was making so much noise that we couldn't hear ourselves think. Second, we found bugs, yes bugs, in our room. The third move was to a larger suite and we were comfortable until we used the shower. The drains were clogged and had to call service. The worst part of it all was the cleaning lady decided to help herself to all the change I had on the coffee table. Won't go there again.
