Koh Kret Luxury Vacations

The room was bigger than expected. Nice sized bathroom. Needs a bit of renovation and deeper cleaning, however I was rarely in my room. Right by a 7/11 and 6min walk to bts which gets you to a few places. For a 3night stay, it was decently priced.

I liked that the room was clean and bed was comfy. Staff was extremely friendly and polite. However, no provision of tooth brush and toothpaste. Bath tub was average but water was not hot enough to have a nice bath and shower. The pool design lacked any sunlight throughout the day and pool water was very cold. Thought the breakfast could have some changes as everyday was exactly the same thing and insufficient western options.

EXCELLENT MANAGEMENT AND STAFF.

The Landmark Hotel in Bangkok (Sukhumvit Road) gives out an air of luxury and opulence with five star service from all the staff, from the check in staff, bar staff and porters and room service. The lobby is vast and welcoming, and I was also allowed to check in early following a short wait whilst they get the room ready. They offer a complimentary welcome drink in the bar next to the lobby, and the seats were very comfortable. I had chosen a corner room which was spacious with great views of the city. They had all the usual amenities in the room such as air conditioning, minibar, toiletries and even stationary and adaptable multifunction electric sockets. They have a limousine service to and from the airport but I did not use it, as the hotel is close to the Nana Skytrain station which connects to Phaya Thai station and from there directly to the main international airport by train, total journey time about 50 minutes. The hotel is about a 10-15 minutes walk to major shopping centres like Siam, MBK and Central World, and all tourist attractions are easily accessible by Skytrain or public transport. The Grab app is worth having on your phone as it is the Thai equivalent of Uber. It was a memorable 6 day stay enjoying the hotel location and facilities, and five star service with a smile from all the staff. I look forward to returning.
