The phones were not working in the rooms and this was not communicated consistently to guest. Some staff acted surprised while others were upfront about damage caused during renovations

This amazing place is perfect until it's time to figure out how to use the key fobs. No instructions are provided to guests and I was forced to track down humans to have them explain how to lock the door to my room when I left. There are no helpful customer service phone numbers or directions. How was I to know to hold the key fob up to a tiny black square in the center of the panel and flip the lock latch twice? Otherwise the Skye at 6th was excellent in every other way.
