Yeouido Kid friendly Vacations

Stayed at the GLAD Hotel and overall had a good experience. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was large with excellent water pressure. The location was convenient with plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. The main downside was the noise — kids running through the halls and doors slamming made it difficult to fully relax at times. Also, the “airport shuttle” is somewhat misleading. It’s actually a public city bus pickup located about 1.5 blocks from the hotel, not a dedicated hotel shuttle. It was farther distance to many sites than I expected but Overall, a comfortable and well-located hotel with a few drawbacks.

Expedia asked me how I liked the breakfast at Kensington Hotel Yoido, but I wasn’t aware I could have breakfast there. The check-in was disappointing, as the receptionist was unable to find my reservation until I could produce an Expedia confirmation number. The room itself was comfortable and clean, though no frills (ie no toothbrush). The location was good, with any number of restaurants and cafes in the neighborhood. But while the hotel advertises soundproofed rooms, I was routinely able to hear my neighbors, including a late-night party the first night.

The staff made me happy every day. The spa and fitness facilities were great. It was a shame that the parking lot was a bit narrow. Still, the overall experience was amazing.
