We've stayed at The Island multiple times and while the rooms aren't that nice, the amenities usually more than make up for it. This time however, rooms need updating and the WORST part was we had MULTIPLE bugs in our room, like 7 or 8, and one was a GIANT cockroach! I think next time we come back into town, we're going to stay somewhere else.

"The mattress absolutely sucked! There was a crater in the middle and we always fell in it. After 2 nights of misery I told the desk clerk. They did replace that mattress with one without a crater in the middle but it was real soft so the back aches continued. The location and the view were awesome. ..."
