On first appearance the entrance & lobby were lovely. Check in was simple. However, our room wasn't great. The smell in the room was awful, bad sewerage smell. The whole floor had the smell. We mentioned this to reception & they just said thanks for letting them know. If we had been staying more than one night we would have asked for a different room. The location was good however and even though we we overlooked the road there was little noise. Such a shame about the smell, they seriously need an overhaul of their plumbing.

AC wasn’t working and it was so hot. They gave us fans but one was broken. There was no oven tray or foil and limited cutlery. Fan made me feel ill and was super dusty. I asked for an additional towel and they gave me tissues.

This is such a wonderful hotel. Perfect location (also for Uber boats), wonderful, caring staff and amazing, quiet suites. The pool is an absolute bonus after a busy day in London… and the breakfasts… ooooh the breakfasts 😂
