Nuns' Island Kid friendly Vacations

Overall a great stay. Good location easily walkable to a number of areas. The only issue we had was cold water two mornings for the shower. The water never got warm. Addressed it to front desk staff bit remained unresolved.

I find myself often wondering what makes a hotel "exceptional" (according to the labels given by booking sites). Le Mount Stephen is truly one of those hotels that falls within this category. I could provide details but there's really nothing more to be said than this hotel IS exceptional. We upgraded to a Jr. Suite this stay and what a spacious room this is. Probably the most elegant Jr. Suite I've ever stayed in.

The check-in person was not at all friendly and we had to ask him to repeat himself a few times as he was unclear. The staff person the next morning had no recommendations for breakfast - a common question I would think! The baseboards in the rooms were very dusty especially around the beds. There was garbage both on the pool level and the terrace where there was also poop (dog I hope!) that was also smeared on the carpet just inside the door! Other than that the property was great, well-located and the value for dollar was very good.

Beautiful, impeccably maintained, wonderful staff and great location in the heart of Old Montreal. The room was spacious and very comfortable with everything needed on hand.

Really neat funky hotel close to everything in Old Montreal. Breakfast was light and stayed the same every day pretty well. There was an addition of toasted bagels one day and apples available 2 days out of four spent there. Lots of places around for breakfast if you wanted something different.
