I absolutely loved this hotel! It was incredibly peaceful, even though the location is so central and close to everything. I had some of the best sleep of my life the room was spotless, so quiet, and they honestly have the best pillows! The staff were truly wonderful and so helpful. Pilar and José Luis helped me with everything I needed, and the breakfast staff were amazing as well. I unfortunately forgot the name of the lovely lady who took care of us, but breakfast was delicious every morning. Granada is already such a special place, but my stay here made the experience even more unforgettable. I would absolutely stay here again!

I had a fantastic stay at La Casa Juan Ranas. It was mid October so the weather was still warm and the local area was vibrant. The view from my suite’s terrace, was truly breathtaking - the best view of Alhambra! It was memorable having breakfast on my terrace and seeing the whole of Granada sprawling beneath the palace. The staff and hotel owner were great and made sure no request was too much - they were really friendly and helpful, arranging trips to the Alhambra. The food in the hotel restaurant was absolutely delicious! Fresh, authentic and made with care. The room was clean with a lovely decor. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

This hotel is all the moneys worth. Everything about it is par excellence. The breakfast is outstanding. The lady managing the dining hall Raquel is very good at her work. Overall a very pleasing stay of 4 days

Hotel older than expected but it was maintained well. Front staff was friendly but housekeeping was not great. Stayed two nights - first night there was no blanket on the beds and only a sheet. Second night a duvet was placed on our beds but not inserted into a duvet cover - the uncovered duvet went on top of our beds and then the duvet cover was just placed on top. Towels were not refreshed and I could tell sinks were not cleaned. Location of the hotel was actually pretty far from the central area so expect lots of walking even if you plan on taking public transportation.
