The staff are helpful and kind. The hotel is clean and small, but nice. Outside the hotel is dirty and noisy with lots of stray dogs but so is the rest of Egypt.

This was truly one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. From the hallways to the rooms, every detail was impeccably designed. The staff was outstanding. Welcoming, attentive, and always willing to go above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. A special thank you to MD, Bota, and Ehab for their remarkable hospitality. Without a doubt, this will be my first choice of hotel on my next visit to Egypt.

It’s all about location! The Marriott Mena House is situated right near the Giza Pyramids, making it ideal for sightseeing and offering easy access to the iconic ruins. However, the building itself is quite old and, while it has been renovated, it still feels outdated rather than impressive. While the property is clean and management does their best to maintain it, the facilities and rooms certainly do not match five-star standards—expect low ceilings, clustered spaces, and a dated ambience. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help, which I truly appreciated. In summary: The location is unbeatable, but the hotel’s structure and facilities are dated. If you’re looking for modern five-star luxury, you may not find it here, but you will experience warm, attentive service and, most importantly, easy access to the Giza Pyramids!

As always, this stay was such a treat. The property is lovely, expansive, and very central, with a large variety of dining options. I was in town for two nights before traveling to their Sharm property for a weeklong stay. The real highlight of the stay is, unsurprisingly, the amazing staff. Our drop off and in-room check-in were well-coreographed and well-executed. The thoughtful touches from housekeeping are always delightful too (e.g., bookmarks in my books, a Four Seasons-branded cloth for my glasses, etc.). The concierge was magnificent and endlessly helpful. We mentioned in passing that my traveling companion had some stomach issues (the kind you dread getting abroad), and the concierge had the pharmacy deliver medicine for my friend, and later called the room to offer complimentary chicken soup and chamomile tea. The next night, we dined at Byblos, and the staff there were standouts too. My companion was still dealing with stomach issues and couldn't finish his dinner, so the manager took the plate off our check and gave my friend a complimentary pot of chamomile tea (all without being asked). Everyone knew or quickly memorized our names and every member of the staff was all smiles at all times. It was the same standard of excellence all across the board. Overall another strong showing by the Four Seasons (most recently I spent a week at their property in Florence, if that's helpful context for my standard of comparison here). I enjoyed the view of Giza pyramid while eating dinner or breakfast in the rooftop. The people are nice and friendly. The room is big enough and clean.
