Frustrating Wedding Weekend - Major Operational Issues I stayed at The Kimpton Brice (Oct 16-19) for a wedding hosted on-site. While the staff is friendly, major operational failures meant the exorbitant amount we paid did not match what we received in any shape or form. • Check-In & Parking: Arrived at 4:30 PM. Despite needing to get ready for a 6 PM rehearsal, our room wasn't ready until 5:32 PM. We couldn't valet until checked in, forcing us to use street parking on the river side (which is actually cheaper). • Credits & Breakfast: Our rehearsal dinner bill could only be split 4 ways, so we couldn't use our $20 daily credits. The bride/groom had to pay the bill. Worse, the $50/day breakfast package we paid for was unusable due to a 45-60 min wait from severe understaffing. • Wedding Reception: The wedding ended at 4:30 PM, but reception bartenders refused to serve until 5 PM, forcing guests to buy drinks at the main bar. The steak/salmon was mediocre, and we had to cut steak with butter knives. Dirty dishes, cups, and ceremony chairs were left scattered in the garden from Saturday until Monday checkout. • Group & Property Issues: 5-6 other couples had check-in delays or incorrect rooms with zero compensation. Also, thin walls meant hearing dog fights and constant barking at all hours. The frontline staff tried their best, but management's conflicting rules made what should have been a celebratory weekend incredibly stressful.

Good Afternoon, Just returned home from our little trip from Savannah. Wife and I are already planning a return trip back. This hotel is possibly going to be one of our little hidden secret spots. Beautiful hotel. Clean! Amazing showers, beds are soft. Well preserved and the hotel staff are very polite and welcoming. Again, very clean hotel. Great location. Kid friendly.
