Calgary South Golf Vacations

What a disaster! I called well ahead of time to request a room on the top floor away from elevators, as my husband has health issues. The person on the phone said no problem at all - then proceeded to start to hang up. I asked him if he wanted my name, and he said no - that it would be no problem on check-in. No other hotel on our trip had done that. Sure enough, when we arrived, we were put in a room on the 2nd floor. Outside our window was a 6 lane road, so we had noise all night. I explained the situation to the staff, who said there was nothing they could do, as they were fully booked. The room was very dated, the bathroom very small, and had a weird layout. The bed was comfortable. They did call from the front desk eventually and said they had a room with one queen bed available, but we couldn't take it as my husband sleep with a machine. It would have been on the other side, which has train tracks, so it probably wouldn't have been any better. Breakfast was in a small area off the pub downstairs and was set up in such a way that you had to reach over people, wait for people in other food lines, so by the time we ate it was cold. Terribly organized. I do not recommend this hotel at all, and will not stay there again. Very disappointed for the money we spent.
