Room and stay was pretty well and enjoyed it. Surprised when I realized that I have to ask for my receipt and that could not have me ‘cause reservation was made by @Expedia Why aren’t you give the receipt automatically without asking for it ?

Excellent staff and entertainment had a great time

If you're not a person who likes big resorts and looks for something a little more low key, The Hideaway is it. Beautiful, well-kept grounds. The room was fresh and clean. The pool and pavilion are in the middle of the cottages, and the beach is literally right outside the gate. My first day there, I had the entire beach to myself (beach is very nice and clean). There is no traditional check-in or front desk and not many employees, so there's kind of just a "honor system" vibe. I did meet one of the managers, who was very sweet and talked to me for several minutes about living on the island. The staff at "The Shack" next door were extremely professional and polite (I'll review The Shack separately). This sounds like such an advert that I will add one negative thing; over the cottage I stayed in, there must have been some sort of fruit or nut tree, and the fruits/nuts often fell throughout the night. Each time one fell, it almost sounded like a brick hit the roof.

The entire experience was A+ . Clean, beautiful, very friendly employees, beautiful grounds . Felt very safe.

We came home one afternoon after being on the Lady Lynsey for the day to find our hotel room ajar. No belongings were disturbed & I'm guessing maybe housekeeping didn't pull the door hard enough to latch it but I would expect less carelessness.
