Mojave Desert Cheap Vacations

Casino was good. Liked the indoor connection to Paris casino and was easy to get to Bellagio. Room was a little run down. It was difficult at first to navigate bc all digital so no one to ask. Instructions were printed on piece of paper that I didn’t realize had the instructions on it. It took us awhile to figure out that paper also had our room number on it. No coffee maker in room and no guide in room to know what restaurants were where. Kind of a frustrating experience. And there was a charge for every little thing. Just felt nickled and dimed.

All good. Check in & Check out were smooth

Room 2 doors down from the elevator and that’s all we heard at night. 11am checkout and if you ask for late checkout in a Monday - they charge you.

Our room was very spacious and clean. The staff was wonderful - room service, housekeeping valet etc. BUT if you need help you have to go thru AI and their fake person RITA. Our heat in our room was acting up, and we didn't know what to do. It was super cold! Also, we thought it was unfortunate when we found out much of the bellboy and valet staff had recently been let go! The wait to get luggage assistance took a very long time and the poor guys were working so hard. We made sure to tip them well because they should have had more help! Also, the restaurants are not open very late here and we had a hard time finding food after going to events. The only time we were able to actually eat here was for breakfast and ordered room service. It is nice being off the strip and easier to get an UBER, so we went elsewhere to eat.

We arrived early since our flight was early morning. We were going to check in early, but after finding out the additional charge, decided to just leave our bags with the luggage concierge. We attempted again to check in. After waiting in a rather long line, the desk clerk told us we had to wait an additional 6 minutes since check-in was in 6 minutes. She expected us to go back to the end of the line and wait the 6 minutes. This was extremely frustrating after a very early 5-hour flight. Why couldn’t she simply have checked us in and just have our room keys unlock after a certain check-in time? This was not a good way to introduce us to Harrah’s in Las Vegas. And we had just stayed at the Harrah’s in Biloxi and Atlantic City.

All good. Check in & Check out were smooth
